Research has shown that the horse needs to have his shoulders free or it will inhibit his gait. This saddle offers more shoulder and hip room and better weight distribution due to wider tree bars than traditional saddles. The Meleta Brown Freedom saddles are made of select saddle skirting, hand tooled, with wool shearling lined skirts and hand engraved Hansen Silver trim. The modified “Even Pull” flat plate rigging is positioned in the ¾ position for more freedom of leg movement.
